The main objective of this UNICEF project is to improve access to safe water and awareness of key hygiene and sanitation practices among 100,000 people in 8 of the most food insecure districts in Zimbabwe. With this CERF grant, UNICEF mainly provides 10,130 WASH hygiene kits for vulnerable households, including water treatment chemicals, jerry cans, bucket, soap, IEC materials kits. The project benefits 100,000 persons (including 21,320 girls, 30,680 women and 7,000 persons with disabilities).
