Providing lifesaving and protective nutrition intervention to most vulnerable children and women in 25 drought affected districts in Zimbabwe. (20-RR-CEF-009)

Project overview

The main objective of this UNICEF project is to protect the nutrition status of vulnerable children under the age of five years, pregnant and lactating women, including those people living with disabilities and HIV, due to the impact of the drought in 25 most affected rural and urban districts. With this CERF grant, UNICEF will provide ready-to-use therapeutic food, fortified therapeutic milk (F-75 and F-100) and nutrition materials. The project benefits 256,760 people, including 97,829 girls, 67,599 women and 17,877 people with disabilities.
