Emergency Health Assistance to communities affected by floods in Bundibugyo, Bududa and Sironko districts (20-RR-WHO-003)

Project overview

The main objective of this WHO project is to provide emergency health assistance to communities affected by floods in Bundibugyo, Bududa and Sironko districts. With this CERF grant, WHO will mainly provide 60,000 mosquito nets, 20 assorted medicine kits, 5 Interagency Health kits, 5 cholera kits, 5 trauma kits and 30 patient bed mattresses. The project covers health sector and will last six months. It will benefit 150,000 persons (including 41,148 girls, 35,052 women and 21,000 persons with disabilities).
