Emergency assistance to flood affected populations in Uganda (20-RR-FAO-003)

Project overview

The main objective of this FAO project is to protect and restore the livelihoods of the most affected people as well as to enhance their ability to produce food and prevent the spread of zoonotic diseases. With this CERF grant, FAO will provide 96 tons of seeds (cereals, pulse and vegetable), 3,010 watering cans, 18,060 agricultural tools, 50 tons of animal feed concentrate and 10,000 assorted animal veterinary medicine kits. The project will be implemented in 6 months and will benefit 29,824 people, including 7,157 girls and 9,306 women.
