WASH response to Tropical Storm Amanda and Cristobal-affected communities and shelters to prevent waterborne diseases, arboviruses, and COVID-19 (20-RR-CEF-040)

The main objective of this project is to reduce waterborne diseases, arboviruses and COVID-19 in six departments of El Salvador. UNICEF will use CERF funds to install WASH services, improve water distribution systems, install water tanks, provide filters and jerrycans, distribute solid waste management supplies, mosquito nets, PPE and family hygiene kits. 15,000 people in shelters and in affected communities will benefit from this project, which will be implemented within 4 months.
