Ensuring access to life-saving WASH supplies and services, within an integrated child survival, development and protection framework (20-RR-CEF-062)

Project overview

The main objective of this project is to address the immediate and life-saving needs in the Water, Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH) sector in select municipalities of Catanduanes and Albay provinces within an integrated child survival, development and protection framework. Specifically, this $1,446,720 UNICEF project provides families with emergency water supplies, distributes hygiene and dignity kits, provides cash-based assistance through a cash-for-work system, among a large set of other activities. The project provides life-saving assistance to a total of 50,000 people, including 10,000 internally displaced people, in the WASH and Health sectors and a total of 25,828 people, including 5,931 men, 7,378 women and 12,519 children, in the Protection sector.
