Health emergency response to Hurricanes Eta and Iota in Nicaragua (20-RR-WHO-043)

The main objective of this project is to ensure access to life-saving healthcare services and actions to reduce the impact of the humanitarian crisis. This WHO project provides a 3-month supply of essential medications and supplies to support 9 health facilities, inter-agency reproductive health kits to 22 facilities, PPEs for health workers and community health volunteers, and vector control supplies and equipment. The project provides life-saving assistance to approximately 69,000 people, including 22,000 women, 21,000 men, 26,000 children, and including 7,000 people with disabilities.
