The main objective of this project is to provide life-saving health and gender-based violence assistance to vulnerable flood-affected communities. This UNFPA project equips 12 health centres with sexual and reproductive health kits, provides hygienic delivery kits and dignity kits, and provides referral and support services to survivors of gender-based violence. The gender-based violence component of the project provides life-saving assistance to 44,550 people, including 17,820 women, 2,970 men, 23,760 children, and 450 people with disabilities. The health component provides life-saving assistance to 43,660 people, including 19,600 women, 2,970 men, 21,090 children, and 440 people with disabilities.
