Emergency response to population affected by floods and insecurity in the Cabo Delgado Province (20-RR-FAO-020)

Project overview

The main objective of this FAO project was to enhance the food and nutrition security of people affected by internal conflict and floods in the districts of Ibo, Metuge, and Pemba in Cabo Delgado Province. The project provided 6,000 bags of vegetable seeds, 5,000kg of bean seeds, 12,000 hoes, and 6,000 watering cans. This project provided life-saving assistance to 25,944 people, including 6,676 girls and 5,806 women.
