Project overview
The main objective of this project is to provide life-saving protection assistance to IDPs, refugees, returnees and host community members. This UNHCR project deploys mobile emergency protection teams to: identify protection issues; provide psycho-social support to victims; distribute cash to those who need to be referred to medical, legal and social services; and support community-based protection mechanisms. The project provides life-saving assistance to 10,000 people, including 6,000 women and 2,000 children.
