Food assistance and logistics support to populations affected by floods (20-RR-WFP-031)

Project overview

The main objective of this WFP project is to meet the short-term food security gap of floods-affected people and provide logistics support to the Government of Kenya. With this CERF grant, WFP provides 936 metric tons of food (cereals, pulses and oil) and transport of 250 metric tons of food in support of the Government. The project directly benefits 42,200 people including 11,000 girls, 10,200 women and 400 people with disabilities, and indirectly benefits 25,000 people.
