Project overview

The main objective of this project is to provide emergency life-saving access to basic water, sanitation and hygiene services to vulnerable children and families and to save the lives of children 6-59 months with acute malnutrition and to prevent that children become malnourished. This UNICEF project rehabilitates water networks, distributes family hygiene kits, and supports child caregivers through nutrition teams. The project provides life-saving assistance to approximately 60,000 people, including 19,000 women, 18,200 men, 23,000 children, and 4,200 people with disabilities.
