The main objective of this project is to provide assistance to meet the immediate and life-saving shelter needs of the most vulnerable people affected by Tropical Cyclone Harold. This IOM project provides shelter assistance to 464 households in the Western and Central Divisions and support to all targeted households to repair their primary shelter through locally appropriate self-recovery approaches and shelter materials. In addition, this project provides training on how to address protection and gender-based violence when providing shelter assistance to six shelter practitioners. In total, 2,320 people, of whom 732 people with disabilities, will be targeted with lifesaving shelter assistance, including 732 men, 712 women, 444 boys and 432 girls.
