Mainstreaming protection, child protection and GBV across the anticipatory action pilot (20-RR-FPA-043)
|Recipient UN Agency||UNFPA|
|Beneficiary type||Other affected persons|
The main objective of this $160,000 project is to ensure that protection, including aspects of gender-based violence (GBV) and child protection, are mainstreamed across all sectoral interventions of the anticipatory action framework. In collaboration with UNICEF and UNHCR, UNFPA will provide training and technical guidance to 320 key staff across agencies involved in implementing the AA activities. These protection mainstreaming activities are expected to benefit vulnerable people targeted by the whole CERF anticipatory action allocation.
