The main objective of this project is to reduce avoidable morbidity and mortality among people affected by the conflict in Tigray. With CERF funding, WHO distributes 1,296 inter-agency emergency health kits, 100 cholera kits, supports 45 health facilities with surveillance tools, supports 10 treatment and isolation centres, and provides 50 health facilities with hand washing facilities, among other activities. Some 333,000 people are targeted for health care assistance. This includes 189,810 displaced people, 81,518 women and 173,162 children, and 58,608 people with disabilities.
