Rapid Emergency Child Protection, WASH and Health response for IDPS in North-West and South-West Regions (20-RR-CEF-004)

Project overview

The main objective of this project is to provide life-saving health, water, sanitation and hygiene (WASH), and child protection assistance to internally displaced persons. This UNICEF project provides WASH kits, mosquito nets, and essential medicines; rehabilitates water points to improve access to safe drinking water; constructs latrines; and provides psychosocial support to conflict-affected children. This project provides life-saving WASH assistance to 60,000 people (including 15,000 women and 30,600 children), life-saving health assistance to 34,000 people (including 8,825 women and 16,344 children), and life-saving child protection assistance to 13,000 children (including 6,500 girls).
