Provide humanitarian air services in Central African Republic (CAR) (20-RR-WFP-058)

Project overview

The main objective of this project is to provide life-saving common humanitarian air services, enabling humanitarian organizations to stay and deliver while ensuring a duty of care to UN personnel. This WFP project supports the operation of UNHAS' fleet of one 35-seat Dash 8, two 17-seat LET 410 aircraft, one 12-seat Cessna Caravan and a 19-seat Dornier 228. UNHAS transports 2,050 humanitarian workers and 25 tons of cargo per month, and services 33 destinations across the Central African Republic.
