Protecting of women and girls affected by cyclone Amphan (20-RR-FPA-026)

Project overview

The main objective of this project was to deliver lifesaving response to gender-based violence (GBV) survivors and reduce GBV risks through integrated protection, sexual and reproductive health services and information. This project 1) distributed dignity kits, 2) provided psychosocial support (PSS) and psychological first aid (PFA) to GBV survivors and 3) provided cash assistance for women and girls among other activities. Some 259,792 people, including 61,599 women and girls and 1,604 people with disabilities.
