Project overview

The main objective of this project is to provide life-saving health assistance to IDPs and host communities in Centre-Nord, Est, Nord and Sahel regions. This WHO project provides emergency health care to vulnerable communities by: equipping health care centres with emergency medical kits, post-trauma kits, and medicines for the treatment of severe acute malnutrition; establish multi-disciplinary mobile clinics; strengthening community-based surveillance; and facilitating referrals of serious cases with cash transfers. The project provides life-saving assistance to 454,053 people, including 106446 women and 248,271 children.
