Project overview

The main objective of this project is to provide life-saving mine action assistance to internally displaced people and host communities in the Boucle du Mouhoun, Centre-Nord, Est, Nord, and Sahel regions. This UNOPS project, on behalf of UNMAS, the UN Mine Action Service, helps prevent life-altering and life-threatening accidents by raising awareness about the risks of improvised explosive devices. The project provides life-saving assistance to 50,000 people, including 10,660 women and 29,500 children.
