Project overview
The main objective of this WFP project was to meet the short-term food security gap of floods-affected people and provide logistics support to the Government of Kenya. With this CERF grant, WFP provided approximately 1,000MT of assorted food commodities that included cereals, pulses and vegetable oil to 53,952 (54 percent female and transport of 93 metric tons of food in support of the Government. The project directly benefited 53,952 people including 13,221 girls, 13,919 women and 26 people with disabilities, and indirectly benefits 25,000 people.
