Lifesaving Shelter/NFI Provision to conflict-affected IDPs in Afar, Amhara and Tigray (20-RR-IOM-032)

The main objective of this IOM project is to provide life-saving emergency shelter and non-food items to internally displaced persons in conflict-affected areas of Tigray and neighboring Amhara and Afar. With this CERF grant, IOM provides basic household items to 11,000 families, emergency shelter kits to 9,000 households, and cash to allow 3,500 families to pay for rent. IOM also rehabilitates 15 communal shelters and collective sites. The project targets 151,250 people (including 22,688 girls and 60,500 women, and including 23,660 persons with disabilities).
