Democratic Republic of the Congo: Allocations overview 2017-2018

The humanitarian situation in Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC) has drastically worsened over the last year. More than 13.1 million people urgently
require humanitarian assistance throughout the country and violence has forced hundreds of thousands of people to flee their homes, including
some 750,000 who have sought refuge in neighbouring countries. During 2017 and 2018, US$100 million in strategically allocated funding from the Central Emergency Response Fund (CERF) has been critical to the humanitarian response in the DRC and in neighbouring countries affected by the crisis.
