High-level Pledging Event on the Central Emergency Response Fund 2026

The Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs presents its compliments to the Permanent and Observer Missions to the United Nations and other International Organizations in New York and Geneva, and has the honour to inform Member States and partners that the High-level Pledging Event on the Central Emergency Response Fund (CERF) for 2026 will be held on Tuesday, 9 December 2025 from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. New York (EST), in the ECOSOC Chamber, 2^nd Floor, Conference Building at the United Nations Headquarters in New York.

Formal invitation from the Secretary-General will be dispatched to your respective mission in New York in the coming days.

A Pledge Form is also attached. Concept note, event programme and further details will follow, and key documents will also be available on the website. The event will be live streamed on UN Web TV https://webtv.un.org/en/asset/k16/k16wc378c0

Kindly note, interpretation is unavailable for this event. The working language will be English.  

Member States are encouraged to participate in-person at the highest level. Each delegation may register a maximum of three delegates for in-person attendance. The deadline to register and send the pledge form is Tuesday, 4 December 2025 COB New York.
